Ocean Paradise Resort is located on the north east coast of Zanzibar overlooking the Indian ocean.
Designed as a traditional African round house but featuring all the creature comforts you could need, the rooms and suites are unrivalled.
Great place, food, people...perfect spot not to be disturbed with your book:)
It was the first time for me and my family to zanzibar. I read reviews and felt really unsure. I feel the reviews were very personal and not targetting all types of guests.
First everyone should accept that it is a four star resort.
When we went there we were really welcomed
warmly. We are vegetarians and the choice was really little but on our request
it was sorted out and we didnt have any more complain on this issue.
Housekeeping was great. Waiters service was a bit slow but all ok.
Rooms were perfect. Pool was great. So was the
beach. Its very scenic and clean.
If they do introduce kids club they will do more
better.
Its bit far from Stonetown. it almost takes the
whole day to come and go and explore it.
Set in 6.5 hectares of serene and colourful gardens, leading to a white sandy beach and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean
Each room is under a pitched makuti roof, and sea facing with large patio doors that open up to a private balcony, where one can sit and take in the sedate pace of African life.
Ocean Paradise Resort Zanzibar features three restaurants that offer fine food in Zanzibar, using only the best in local and imported produce. The Ocean Restaurant, sitting two floors up, has panoramic views over the resort and the Indian Ocean beyond
The Restaurant serves a sumptuous breakfast with an array of freshly baked breads, croissants and Danish pastries, Cereals, and traditional cooked dishes. In the evening, the mood changes, with soft lighting,
candles and an extensive themed buffet which changes daily If one wants to tie-the-knot on a white sandy beach with a backdrop of the Indian Ocean, the sales team at Ocean Paradise can make that dream a reality. Honeymooners get that extra special Ocean Paradise treatment.
There’s a bottle of bubbly awaiting in the room, a romantic lobster dinner on the beach and a room upgrade, subject to availability.
Each day, there is something different to keep you entertained. From traditional African dancers, acrobats and our resident band, to big screen sports broadcasts and sports competitions.
My advice, anyone can enjoy if you know how to Ignore
small petty things and see the real thing. We had no regrets going there. We
dont mind going back there. My kids loved it didnt want to come back home
